THE PLANNING, THE SESSIONS, HOW MUCH??
When should we book our session? Do you have recommended times? locations? we will go over all of that!
Planning a photo session can be intimating!
I’m here to help you make this day stress free.
-
I recommend booking 3-6 months before your session. this will secure your sports. spring & fall are my busiest time of year, these spots fill up very fast.
If it’s already fall and you want fall photos, please still reach out to me, I usually have cancellations or save a day or two open for last minute bookings!
for weddings, i strongly suggest 6 months - 1 year in advance. -
all sessions are 1 hour long.
*newborn sessions are 3 hours* -
anywhere you want! :-) I’m happy to travel anywhere in Massachusetts & Rhode Island. My travel fee depends on location.

For families, I love when people match or have a color scheme. -
and that’s okay! we will get through it together. everyone is beautiful and deserves the spotlight on them. I promise you, 15 minutes into your session, you will be posing like a runway model without me telling you! 💃
-

This does not include weddings + elopements

No, unfortunately I cannot. All photos are edited to my style, which is colorful and airy.
-
Yep! I remove distractions and Photoshop small details to get the result that I want. This is included in the session fee. If there is something in particular you want me to Photoshop, please let me know. There may be a fee depending on how big the request is and how many photos it applies to. Generally, I do not like to make significant changes to people’s bodies, as I think everyone is beautiful the way they are. Per my contract, clients may not alter photos after delivery.
-
First, although sessions may be short, every session requires weeks of post-processing work. When the photos reach you, they are a polished gem. I make sure that if someone blinks, looks away, walks by in the background, or forgets to tie their shoes, you will never know about it.
Second, I invest in the highest quality equipment so I can produce top-tier photographs that clients will cherish for years to come. Photography equipment is constantly evolving. Clients deserve a photographer whose tools match their degree of expertise.
And third, I bring more than a decade of camerawork and childcare experience to every shoot. I have held many day-old newborns, soothed countless toddlers, and gathered plenty of crowds of mixed ages for a group photo. It’s safe to say that this is not my first rodeo.
-
If you are experiencing financial difficulty that would preclude you from getting family photos, you are welcome to negotiate the price. Having experienced extreme financial difficulty in the past, I care deeply about making family photos accessible to all, regardless of one’s socioeconomic status. Everyone deserves to have timeless photos of the people they love. You can also follow me on social media to learn about special sessions and promotions
-
Yes, that is 100% okay. Privacy and respect are important to me. I only ever post clients on my website and social media with the permission or consent of their guardian(s). I ask clients to sign an agreement so I can post the photos online, but you may decline.
